Pickup Policy

Welcome to GaurSkrap. This Pickup Policy explains how our doorstep scrap collection service works. By requesting a pickup through the app, you agree to the following terms.
1. Pickup Request
Users can schedule a scrap pickup by selecting available materials, choosing a preferred pickup date and time slot, and providing a valid pickup address.
Submitting a pickup request does not guarantee immediate collection. All requests are subject to service availability.
2. Service Availability
Doorstep pickup services are available only in supported areas.
If your pickup address is currently outside our service coverage, your request may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled.
3. Pickup Schedule
Our collection team will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the selected pickup time slot. However, delays may occur due to traffic, weather conditions, operational requirements, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If required, we may contact you to reschedule your pickup.
4. Scrap Condition
Please ensure that all scrap materials are:
- Safe to handle.
- Properly separated whenever possible.
- Easily accessible at the pickup address.
- Free from hazardous, illegal, or prohibited materials.
Items that cannot be collected safely may be declined.
5. Estimated Value
Any estimated value displayed in the app is for reference purposes only.
The final value may vary depending on the actual material type, quantity, weight, and condition verified during pickup.
6. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing an accurate pickup address.
- Being available during the selected pickup time.
- Keeping your contact information up to date.
- Updating or cancelling your request if your plans change.
7. Request Modification and Cancellation
Pickup requests may be modified or cancelled before the scheduled collection, subject to operational availability.
Repeated misuse, fake bookings, or excessive cancellations may result in temporary service restrictions.
8. Service Limitations
GaurSkrap reserves the right to decline or cancel any pickup request if:
- The provided pickup address is incorrect or incomplete.
- The requested materials include prohibited or unsafe items.
- Collection cannot be completed due to safety, operational, or legal reasons.
9. Safety
Our collection staff may refuse to collect materials if doing so could pose a risk to people, property, or the environment.
